Join the Fresh team as City Operations Manager. As Operations Managers for our Fresh Stores you will be responsible for direct people management experience in driving operational performance in a highly metric driven environment. You will also lead many process improvement projects, both for the stores and the network, to drive enhancements in key shop floor metrics, viz.Quality, Cost and Delivery. One of your key responsibilities will also be development of your team members. You must be flexible to work weekends and/or overnight shifts regularly and to travel to stores to launch, set up & monitor store operations.
Key job responsibilities- Monitor end to end in-store operations and suggest & deploy improvements
- Ability to utilize exceptional problem solving and communication skills to influence operations and business stakeholders
- Insist on High Standards of Operations by ensuring Amazon standard processes are implemented at partner stores for apt Customer experience
- Deep dive on daily operational metrics, identify gaps and drive operational excellence to meet organizational goals
- Visit 3P stores, perform daily/ weekly audits and drive corrective actions with the help of store team to comply with relevant SOPs
- Review the work forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectives
- Execute strategic plans on ground in collaboration with other stakeholders
- Lead or contribute in national level projects on quality improvement/ operational excellence/ cost optimization
- Create and maintain a safe and healthy work environment among operations teams
- Invent and Simplify work flows to build process automation and Hands of the Wheel approach with partner teams
- Earn trust with partner teams to execute routine and unique tasks more efficiently
- 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays- 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
