Kaufman Rossin is seeking a Tax Senior with Private Equity industry experience to join our dynamic team in India. This important role includes technical tax compliance and consulting work.
Requirements
How You’ll Contribute:
- Prepare and review 1065 Partnership returns, K-1s, K-2, and K-3, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and soft skills training to junior team members, including in-person classroom training and mentoring.
- Act as a primary point of contact for US reviewers, effectively communicating issues and ensuring clarity well in advance of deadlines.
- Demonstrate proficiency in partnership allocations and concepts.
- Review state tax returns.
- Utilize Go-Systems Tax and CCH software to complete complex tax filings.
- Collaborate with the team to work independently, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision, especially during peak busy seasons.
- Take a proactive role in developing team members, providing coaching and constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
- Stay up to date with changes in tax law and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
What Skills You'll Bring:
- 3 years of recent experience with Private Equity partnership clients
- B.Com or Equivalent
- CPA eligibility Desired
- Public accounting experience required
- Strong team player and a commitment to high-quality, detailed work
- Strong computer skills
