Designation: Associate Product Manager (APM)Experience: 4-6 years
Roles & Responsibilities:Understand & Plan Roadmaps: Work closely with product leads to understand the monthly product roadmap, identifying priorities, business impact, and dependencies for each item.
Release Planning & Execution: Break down roadmap items into actionable tasks, creating detailed release plans and coordinating with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery.
Cross-functional Coordination: Serve as the liaison between product, engineering, and business teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment on roadmap priorities and execution.
Monitor Progress & Risks: Track project milestones, manage timelines, and proactively identify and resolve potential blockers to keep releases on schedule.
Stakeholder Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on release progress, including risks, roadblocks, and mitigation strategies.Continuous Improvement: Analyze post-release data and performance to refine future roadmaps and processes, ensuring continual optimization of engineering operations.
Must-Have Skills:Project Planning & Execution: Proven experience in translating high-level product roadmaps into detailed monthly release plans, managing priorities and deliverables.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to communicate effectively with product leads, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accountability.
Technical Acumen: Familiarity with software development processes and terminology to manage engineering teams and tasks efficiently.Analytical Skills: Proficiency in tools like SQL, JIRA, or similar project management platforms to monitor KPIs, track progress, and evaluate outcomes.
Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify and resolve operational challenges, keeping releases on schedule.
Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience working in Agile development environments with sprint planning and backlog management.
Familiarity with data analysis tools to generate reports and insights that inform product and release decisions.Knowledge of AI/ML-based product development (preferred but not mandatory).
