SRE Architect/ SRE Lead

Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad/Pune

Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• SRE Practices: Define and implement SRE best practices, including SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets. Perform maturity assessments and gather non-functional requirements.
• Observability & Monitoring: Set up and configure tools like Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, or ELK for monitoring, alerts, and dashboarding. Analyze and design monitoring strategies for production systems.
• Cloud Engineering: Leverage Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) for cloud deployments. Ensure scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.
• Consulting & Troubleshooting: Provide SRE consulting to internal and external stakeholders, troubleshoot critical issues, and design performance improvements.
• Production Support: Manage large-scale distributed systems in production, ensuring availability and performance. Drive incident response processes and root cause analysis.
• Performance Metrics: Track and improve key metrics like MTTA (Mean Time to Acknowledge) and MTTR (Mean Time to Recovery).
• Automation & Tools: Build and maintain automated workflows for system reliability, using modern DevOps practices and tools.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 12+ years in SRE, DevOps, or related roles, with hands-on experience in production environments.
• Skills: Strong expertise in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, ELK).
• Metrics & Practices: Deep understanding of SLO, SLI, error budgets, and performance metrics.
• Consulting: Proven ability to interface with customers and provide SRE consulting services.
• Automation: Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like Terraform or equivalent.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results in high-pressure environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with managed services and large-scale production operations.
• Familiarity with APM tools and performance engineering.
