Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software,networks, servers, and security.
Ensure IT systems operate smoothly, and reliably, and meet business needs.
Administer Google Workspace and manage software licensing and
hardware inventory.
Coordinate with vendors for IT asset pricing and procurement.
Configure and maintain firewall/UTM devices and VPN connections for
network security.
Implement security policies to protect against cyber threats.
Monitor and maintain on-premise servers for optimal performance.
Plan and execute server upgrades, patches, and migrations.
Identify and address security vulnerabilities in IT systems.
Implement security best practices to prevent cyber attacks.
Automate tasks to streamline IT operations and boost productivity.
Manage relationships with ISPs and vendors for reliable services.
Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts for IT services.
Coordinate IT setup for new employees and manage offboarding for
departing employees.
Collaborate with teams to address IT issues and support business initiatives.
Provide technical expertise to resolve IT problems.
Handle various IT tasks and projects, including user support and technology
implementations.
Be flexible to work outside standard hours only for critical issues or
maintenance.
Ensure reliability, security, and efficiency of IT infrastructure and operations.
