THE OPPORTUNITY
Do you have a passion for analytics and looking for a great opportunity to influence the business by building and maintaining our Workforce Analytics processes As an HR Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting data-driven decision-making and providing valuable insights to both the Human Resources function and the Executive Leadership team.Your primary focus will be on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting Workforce data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving business processes and initiatives. You will collaborate with our IT teams to deliver and maintain dashboards via Snowflake and Tableau or other BI tools.
(including AI tools). In addition, you will gain broader exposure to various HR systems and tools by auditing for data integrity and improving reports and process efficiencies.
The Team
Xactly's Human Resources team is a tight-knit global team with diverse backgrounds. We're charged with bringing progressive, creative, and impactful HR strategies to the Company. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Compensation and Workforce Analytics and will be part of the Global HR team.
Skill Set / Qualifications- 2+ years working with data analytics initiatives and visualization software, specifically Tableau, or other similar systems like Microsoft Power BI or Qlik
- Proficiency in SQL
- Strong/Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, charting, vlookup)
- Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
- Curious, creative, and results-oriented
- Ability to prioritize requests based on importance and timing
- Sensitivity for handling confidential information
- Flexibility to meet with key stakeholders in North America on a regular basis (by working a later shift)
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Data Analytics preferred (or equivalent)
- Certified Tableau Data Analyst
- Workday HCM experience
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently but also enjoys working with teams towards a common goal
- Passion for continuous learning
- Experience creating and delivering presentations for HR and business leaders
- Works with IT organization and business end-users to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements.
- Builds and automates easy to use, self-service reports and dashboards
- Provide direction and coaching to end users on how to use and interpret metrics
- Audit data integrity, investigate concerns, and establish processes to streamline and improve data quality
- Partners cross-functionally to improve our HR analytics data warehouse and systems
- Proactively researches best practices and tools
- Works on projects related to HR technology enhancements or business process improvements
- Develop a working relationship with the Workforce Analytics team, the HR Leadership team, and the IT team
- Understand data structure of files integrating into Snowflake and Tableau (e.g. from Workday, iCIMS, Lattice, Hone, etc.) in order to design visualizations
- Maintain existing dashboards each month and quarter with relevant updates
- Learn more about HR systems and processes
- Learn more about the business and business challenges
- Demonstrate project management by planning and executing on new dashboard rollout (from wire frame design, user acceptance testing, documentation, and communication to Go Live)
- Continue evolving existing dashboards and AI tools
- Understand the value of making workforce data accessible to business leaders in order to drive the right conversations and decisions.
- Continue research on common Workforce metrics and best practices and share knowledge and suggestions
- Be able to to spot patterns and share insights in the data you are bringing to life in visualization
