Main purpose of role:

Taking responsibility for effectively delivering a range of tasks to high quality standards for fit out projects

Scope:

Assistant Project Managers /project manager assist on a wide range of Fit out projects of all sizes and dimensions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Project Manager on a range of tasks, to include:
  • Conducting background research, data collection and benchmarking
  • Establishing effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project
  • Producing project plans
  • Monitoring and documenting project progress and other performance indicators
  • Tracking and documenting changes
  • Preparing written project communication materials
  • Preparing formal project progress and other reports
  • Liaising with the client, contractors and designers
  • Attending meetings and drafting minutes, etc
  • Preparing presentation materials for client pitches, etc
  • Inputting key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database
  • Reporting
  • Depending upon context, an Assistant Project Manager is likely to report to a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager
Key Performance Indicators
  • Tasks are completed to the right accuracy and quality standards
  • Tasks are completed efficiently and on time
  • Client needs are dealt with in a helpful and attentive way
  • The cross-functional team is supported in a helpful and positive manner
  • An effective contribution is made towards the overall project
  • Key information and data are effectively communicated and appropriately retained

Qualifications
  • Education - Diploma or B.E. Civil, Mechanical & Electrical.
  • Experience in Fit out, Civil structural is preferred, corporate fit out experience is a must
  • You should have relevant experience of working for a construction consultancy in India, be degree educated in a relevant construction subject and have good technical skills.
  • 8 - 15years of post-qualification experience in similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
