Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Subject Matter Expert, Go-to-Market (GTM) Playbook

We are looking for a highly skilled Go-to-Market (GTM) Playbook SME to design and implement a scalable, actionable GTM playbook that empowers our sales organization to deliver consistent results. This role focuses on crafting strategic frameworks, processes, and tools tailored to organizations with annual revenues under %2410 billion.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in sales methodologies, market dynamics, and GTM best practices to enable a data-driven, repeatable sales approach that aligns with business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Design the GTM Playbook:
  • Develop a comprehensive, modular GTM playbook tailored to mid-market organizations (%2410 billion revenue).
  • Incorporate detailed workflows, sales processes, and step-by-step guides for prospecting, lead qualification, engagement, and closing deals.
  • Ensure the playbook reflects best practices for identifying key personas, crafting value propositions, and navigating client pain points.
  • Standardize Sales Processes:
  • Define clear sales stages, decision points, and success metrics to guide the sales team throughout the funnel.
  • Build tools and templates (e.g., outreach scripts, objection handling frameworks, pitch decks) that are easy for the sales team to adopt.
  • Collaborate with Key Stakeholders:
  • Work closely with sales leaders, marketing, and product teams to ensure GTM strategies align with organizational goals.
  • Partner with data and analytics teams to embed insights into the playbook and continually refine its effectiveness.
  • Enable the Sales Organization:
  • Provide training and onboarding for sales teams on how to use the GTM playbook effectively.
  • Act as the go-to resource for troubleshooting challenges or customizing the playbook for specific sales scenarios.
  • Optimize and Evolve the Playbook:
  • Monitor the success of playbook adoption and its impact on sales performance.
  • Continuously update the playbook based on feedback, market trends, and emerging sales strategies.
  • Integrate Technology and AI:
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate AI-driven tools, CRM systems, and sales automation into the GTM playbook.
  • Leverage technology to create a self-service, scalable model for sales enablement.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills
  • Bachelor&rsquos degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master&rsquos degree preferred).
  • Relevant years of experience in sales strategy, GTM execution, or sales enablement.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing GTM frameworks or playbooks in B2B environments.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, MEDDIC, SPIN) and their application in mid-market sales.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex processes and create actionable, user-friendly materials.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate strategy into clear, actionable steps.
  • Proficiency with sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and familiarity with AI-driven solutions for sales enablement.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in leveraging data to refine GTM strategies.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with a customer-first mindset.
