Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with the Teams Director to execute a strategic corporate event strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Lead and report on key strategic projects related to major company initiatives, events, and goals.
- Project Management:
- Develop, maintain, and oversee project timelines, ensuring all tasks are successfully completed.
- Provide strategic analysis for event projections, roadmapping, and ROI evaluation across the region.
- Manage 58 Tier 1 events end-to-end, delivering flawless execution and making it experiential events.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Manage a team of five, ensuring bandwidth alignment, KPI tracking, and overall team efficiency.
- Work closely with regional and product-focused marketing teams to deliver reports, updates, and data insights to senior leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Budgeting and Vendor Management:
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure noticeable cost savings while adhering to strict budgetary constraints.
- Track and report financial benefits, ensuring events deliver maximum ROI.
- Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for team efficiency, streamline workflows, and implement process automation.
- Explore and secure sponsorship opportunities for events to offset costs.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Present updates, strategic plans, and performance analysis to senior leadership, showcasing proactive communication and data-driven insights.
Required Skills:
- Experience and Leadership:
- 1015 years of experience in event planning, marketing, and team/people management.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a high-performing team.
- Experience working directly with senior leadership to present strategies and deliver insights.
- Skills and Capabilities:
- Strong project management skills with an ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and ROI measurement.
- Negotiation and Vendor Management:
- Demonstrated success in negotiating vendor contracts to secure cost savings and manage budgets effectively.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced expertise in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with event tech and management tools.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proactive approach to stakeholder management.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution.
