Job Summary:

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee and deliver complex software projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to high-quality standards. This role demands strong technical expertise, excellent project management skills, and effective communication and team collaboration abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Proficiency: Possess a strong understanding of both frontend and backend technologies. While expertise in both is ideal, proficiency in one with a comprehensive understanding of the other is acceptable.

Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans based on client goals, including resource utilization and task breakdowns (Module > Task > Subtasks).
  • Define clear acceptance criteria for deliverables.
  • Ensure prompt review of pull requests, aiming for same-day feedback.
  • Anticipate potential challenges and proactively address issues to prevent future obstacles.
  • Conduct demos after each sprint, ensuring appropriate data is in place and rehearsals are conducted 1-2 days prior.
Team Leadership and Coordination:
  • Lead daily stand-up meetings at consistent times, ensuring punctuality and adherence to schedules.
  • Regularly review team tasks, focusing on both UI and performance aspects.
  • Collaborate with senior developers to facilitate weekly code reviews.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of team tasks to assist in weekly client updates.
Stakeholder Communication and Client Engagement:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the development team, ensuring clear and open communication.
  • Schedule meetings in advance, coordinating calendars of all participants.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, potential risks, and any delays, ensuring all communications are documented.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain meticulous records of all client communications, including meeting minutes and action items.
  • Develop and manage essential project documents such as Statements of Work (SOW), sign-off sheets, and Change Request (CR) forms.
  • Ensure all client meetings are recorded and documented appropriately.
Risk Management:
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate any delays from the client or team side promptly to stakeholders, ensuring all delays are documented and acknowledged in writing.

Qualifications:

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of both frontend and backend technologies, with the ability to oversee technical aspects of projects effectively.

Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in project planning, execution, and team coordination, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Adept at identifying issues proactively and implementing effective solutions.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Trello.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience managing software development projects in a dynamic environment.
Education: Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
