INSLP (Security & Loss Prevention) is hiring a Program manager to support growth of “SWA (Ship with Amazon) business” and build-up the loss prevention charter. SWA is part of Externalization vision for Amazon and is currently at a high growth stage

The primary objective of the Program manager is to build mechanisms and strategize investigation efforts which will ultimately control losses and reimbursements. The role is cross-functional and requires deep collaboration and influencing ability with stakeholders from business and corporate functions.

Program manager day-to-day activities involve planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and executing process and procedures laid down by the business and the SLP function.

As a part of the SLP SWA program, Program manager is required to deep dive into various loss trends and coordinate with regional teams to prioritize investigations. SLP has outlined frameworks for investigation with SWA business team, and the program manager is expected to work towards mitigating shipper reimbursements by maintaining and improving current mechanisms.

As the SLP SWA team grows, Program Manager would act a central POC between regional SLP, CMRS and the claims/NL team. The program manager will also be required to work on business loss escalations, strategize with investigators and close loop MO’s/defects.

Base location is out of Bangalore, and the program manager should be open to travel basis loss trends on case-to-case basis

Key job responsibilities
Compliance and documentation
  • Keeping the plans and SOPs updated
  • Periodical check of documentation and formulate documents for approval of new mechanisms
  • Adhering to SLAs, metrics defined for the SLP SWA program
Process Improvement and Loss Prevention
  • Process review, gap analysis and implementation of necessary improvements
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly review documents
  • Loss prevention reporting
  • Working on feedbacks received from internal and external stakeholders
  • Programmatic inputs to business team on reimbursement control
  • Recommending loss prevention initiatives based on on-ground intel
Loss Prevention Analysis and Investigation
  • Work closely with the SLP, SWA, LM and MM teams on investigations and drive corrective/preventive measures on MOs /defects
  • Loss trend analysis, identifying defects / abusive entities and working towards loss reduction mechanisms
  • Liasoning with regional SLP teams to optimize investigation coverage, substantiation and goodness impact
  • Sharing RCAs where necessary and ideating PTG initiatives on shipper reimbursements, process compliance and defect reduction
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of 4-8 years in Security and Loss prevention role, law enforcement or security-related profession
  • Extensive and up to date knowledge of Shrink Management and Data Analysis
  • Experience in managing or coordinating loss investigations of complex nature- Loss Prevention experience
  • Experience in last mile/first mile logistics industry will be a plus
  • Investigation/Security related certification
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience in writing business review documents /SOPs
  • Training & Development experience
