Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Data Engineer to join our team at Career Mantra. This is a remote position based in Wakad, Pune, offering a mid-level role for candidates with a maximum of 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, managing, and optimizing data systems to support our expanding business needs.
Qualifications And Skills- Proficiency in SQL (Mandatory skill) to efficiently query and manipulate databases, ensuring seamless data extraction and analysis.
- Expertise in Python (Mandatory skill) for developing robust data processing scripts and automating data operations.
- Strong experience with ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into unified databases.
- Proficiency in data modeling techniques to design and implement database structures that maximize data integrity and accessibility.
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark to handle and process large datasets efficiently.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions to organize and store large volumes of data securely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for deploying scalable data solutions in the cloud environment.
- Capability in developing and maintaining data pipelines that ensure consistent and timely data delivery across systems.
- Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Databricks.
Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Optimize and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure high performance and reliability.
Write efficient, maintainable code in .NET and C# for data processing tasks.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering.
Document data architecture, processes, and systems.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Azure Databricks and ETL processes.
Proficient in developing and optimizing data pipelines.
Experience with .NET and C# programming languages.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles
