Job Description

TheManager/Senior Manager of Vendor Success will manage different vendors and 3PL,focusing on vendor performance, growth, and overall relationship management. This role is responsible for setting and achieving performance metrics, fostering vendor engagement, and driving operational improvements that benefit both Pidge and its logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Management and Relationship Building:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to foster engagement, loyalty, and alignment with Pidge's service standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, ensuring clear and open lines of communication.

Performance Management:

• Set and monitor performance metrics (e.g., delivery success rates, timeliness, compliance) for vendors to ensure high-quality service levels.
• Analyze vendor performance data and provide actionable insights to enhance efficiency, productivity, and service consistency.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans for underperforming vendors, coordinating closely with cross-functional teams to address gaps.

Vendor Growth and Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for vendor growth, capacity expansion, and network optimization within the existing 3PL and vendor network.
• Implement vendor segmentation strategies to ensure the right resources are allocated to high-performing vendors, driving network efficiency.
• Collaborate with vendors to support their growth, proactively addressing challenges that could impact their performance or scalability.

Reporting and Analytics:

• Regularly report on vendor performance, growth metrics, and key insights to senior leadership.
• Utilize data-driven analysis to identify trends, address pain points, and optimize resource allocation within the vendor network.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in vendor management, 3PL logistics, or operations management, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior role.
• Proven experience managing 3PL partners and logistics vendors, with a strong understanding of performance metrics and growth strategies.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a focus on win-win outcomes.
