Software Engineering Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced engineering manager to drive the technical execution of our projects while ensuring effective leadership, compliance with standards, and support for various departments. This role requires hands-on expertise in technical leadership, project management, team oversight, and cross-functional collaboration.

1. Lead and mentor the technical team in design, development, and implementation of solutions.
2. Oversee the adoption of new technologies, best practices, and innovative solutions to meet project requirements.

II. Project Leadership:

1. Plan, execute, and monitor technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
2. Manage project resources, timelines, and risks while communicating progress to stakeholders.

III. Team Management & Technical Oversight:

1. Provide clear direction and coaching to team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
2. Ensure technical accuracy, code quality, and adherence to architectural principles through regular reviews and guidance.

IV. Technical Documentation & Process Compliance:

1. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for projects and processes.
2. Ensure all projects comply with internal standards, industry best practices, and legal or regulatory requirements.

1. Collaborate with Business Development (BD) to provide technical insights and support during client engagements, proposals, and solution design.
2. Assist HR in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of technical staff, ensuring alignment with the organizations objectives.

1. Hands on experience on cloud management.
2. Understanding of Mobile application development cycle.
3. Advantage on understanding of IoT protocols.
4. Hands on experience in frontend and backend development
5. Experience in managing an expanded team within a project.
6. Experience in product development on a small to large scale.
7. Advantage of handling live projects / products with 10000+ users.
8. Strong understanding of code deployment.
9. Well versed in using AI (copilot / chatGPT etc) in the development cycle.
10. Ability to rapidly train a team on new technologies / approaches.
