We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Software Engineer.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Ensure the quality of deliveries and ensure conformance to processes and practices.
- Delivering well structured, maintainable and fully tested code to UAT for business testing.
- Collaborate with Business analysis/Product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
- Taking ownership in preparing and executing Automation Test Scripts from Functional Specification/Requirements
- Identify, document, and track software defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that existing functionalities are not impacted by new code changes.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Analyse test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to the team.
Requirements
Requirements/Key Skills:- Working independently and as part of a team to design, develop automated test scripts for API testing using Rest Assured and Karate.
- Hands-on experience in UI Automation testing using Selenium, Cucumber, Extent Reports and Java
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Pragmatic / lean / agile testing techniques
- Comfortable operating in an agile development team, self-starting, motivated.
- Takes ownership, pride in delivered work
- Good exposure or knowledge of BDD and TDD framework development
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools, JIRA, Postman, Swagger.
The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements: (Good to have Requirements)
- Knowledge of Investment Banking products.
- Good to have experience in testing micro-services, Spring-boot Rest template for API automation.
- Experience in framework development from scratch.
- Experience in performance testing and tools such as JMeter.
