nAccounting & Reporting Manager - General Accounting
nYour role and responsibilities
nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to drive complete, accurate, and timely completion of accounting activities for the assigned area (e.g., reporting, consolidation, etc.) within the General Accounting (GA) team. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal guidelines, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.You will also showcase your expertise by overseeing, reviewing, and/or supporting the month-end close process including account reconciliation, preparation of journal entries, balance sheet review, etc. The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite,#LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Finance Operational Service based in Bangalore, India.
In this role you will be reporting to Accounting & Reporting Manager and will be responsible to lead a group or team focused on the complete, accurate and timely completion of accounting activities within team. Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures as well as external regulatory requirements You will be mainly accountable for: Overseeing the preparation of financial statements in the appropriate format to include in timely filings with regulatory agencies.
Leading Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) compliance for specific areas (e.g., record- to-report, order-to-cash, etc.) to ensure that processes and controls are designed effectively and to address financial reporting. Performing analysis of accounts and highlighting any discrepancies/anomalies for correction and serving as an escalation point or subject matter expert for the resolution of accounting transactions and reporting questions.Ensuring transparency in financial reporting and disclosures.
nQualifications for the role- nYou are immersed engaged with R2R,SAP. Focus on the shared services/manufacturing market.n
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in advanced skills. Must have 8-10 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation and processing of journal entries .Must have the experience in handling a team. Must be flexible in working for night timings
- nPossess an enhanced knowledge of SAP
- nYou are passionate about ,you are innovative around MS Excel and MS officen
- Degree in Bachelors degree or MBA in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- nYou are at ease communicating with Strong written and verbal communication skills
