Job Description
Position Summary
The Project Manager will manage and oversee multiple, highly complex business process and innovation projects ensuring all agreed upon objectives and deliverables are implemented in accordance with business and/or innovation requirements.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties (Primary Responsibilities) Include The Following.- Ensure that project requirements and deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Ensure that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum/Kanban Team.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining project and technical documentation (project schedule, testing schedule, project overview summary implementation plan, etc.)
- Responsible for the coordination of internal, contract, and vendor resources.
- Responsible for managing all phases of SDLC for technology teams.
- Manage relationship with users, clients, and vendors for assigned projects and technology team deliverables.
- Facilitate and support all project and/or agile events across planning, daily stand-ups, iteration reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with technical managers to proactively identify blockers and impediments.
- Responsible for communication with senior level business executives and key stakeholders on delivery status and team performance.
- Understand and practice agility.
- Coach individual technology team members on Agile best practices.
- Coach the team towards self-reliance, including coaching team members around conducting agile events, scheduling grooming sessions and challenging the team to solve problems.
- Coach the Product Owner/Engineering Manager on effective techniques so they know how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value.
- Coach the team on effective techniques to break down work for incremental, iterative delivery.
- Accountable for relentless improvement utilizing team retrospectives for Scrum/Kanban teams.
- Responsible for recognizing healthy team metric trends and creating actionable items to address those trends.
- Responsible for the Change Management process.
- Responsible for the IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Provide technical support as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle and resolve problems.
- Initiative, accuracy, diplomacy, personal judgment, and professional conduct.
- Excellent computer skills including database experience and the mastery of Word & Excel.
- Experience as a Practicing Scrum Master, Kanban Team Lead, or Project Manager
- Experience leading infrastructure teams
- Experience in leading quality delivery and continuous improvement initiatives
Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Additional PM certifications (PMP, CSP) a plus
Preferred Previous Experience
Three to six years in a similar position.
