The GUS Global Operations department is seeking a dynamic Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to lead and oversee a high-performing team responsible for designing, delivering, and optimizing training programs across Recruitment Partners, Institutional Departments, Business Developers, and Operations.This role is critical to advancing Global Operations knowledge, processes, SOPs, and tools across our diverse network. The L&D Manager will not only develop and manage training programs but will also lead the L&D team, including Learning Consultants and Content Developers, while driving strategic initiatives to ensure broad adoption of learning programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management
- Directly oversee and manage a team of Learning Consultants and Content Developers, providing mentorship, setting goals, and evaluating performance.
- Guide the L&D team in creating, updating, and implementing training content that aligns with GUS Global Operations’ strategic goals.
- Lead on special initiatives that promote new product/process launches, ensuring these projects are delivered on time, are relevant, and drive significant value to all stakeholders.
- Training Program Development and Implementation
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs tailored to Recruitment Partners, Business Developers, Institutional Departments, and Operations teams.
- Ensure that each training program provides clear, actionable insights on Global Operations processes, SOPs, tools, and updates, driving high levels of participation and knowledge retention.
- Collaborate with departmental leaders to design targeted programs that address specific operational and partner needs.
- Content Creation, LMS Management, and Adoption
- Oversee the creation of training modules and manage content deployment through the LMS platform, ensuring ease of access and engagement.
- Manage and optimize the LMS, ensuring that modules are organized, user-friendly, and fully aligned with process goals.
- Lead efforts to increase adoption and usage rates of training modules among all stakeholders, using targeted communication strategies to promote new courses and resources.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
- Engage and collaborate with various stakeholders, including Recruitment Partners, BDs, Institutional Departments, and Operations, to continuously understand and address training needs.
- Ensure alignment with internal teams, enhancing program effectiveness and adapting training to the specific operational priorities of each department.
- Provide guidance and insights to the BD and Ops teams on effective training use, maximizing operational efficiency and knowledge.
- Process Improvement and Continuous Content Development
- Drive the continual improvement of training materials by incorporating best practices, gathering feedback, and implementing innovative learning methods.
- Regularly review SOPs and SOWs, ensuring all training materials stay current with changes in processes, policies, and tools.
- Promote proactive learning by delivering updated and new modules on a timely basis and tracking engagement to ensure successful program implementation.
- Metrics, Reporting, and Impact Analysis
- Develop and maintain metrics to track the effectiveness of training initiatives, enabling data-driven decisions that enhance the overall learning strategy.
- Provide comprehensive reporting on training completion, engagement rates, and content adoption, along with analysis on training impact.
- Present insights to senior leadership, ensuring that training programs effectively support GUS Global Operations' goals.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Must 7+ years in L&D Management
- Good to have SalesForce CRM knowledge.
- Proven experience in an L&D leadership role, particularly within a global or operations-focused organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing an LMS, as well as designing and developing high-quality learning content.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience overseeing and guiding L&D teams, including Learning Consultants and Content Developers.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, fostering collaboration and alignment across departments.
- Proficient with MS Suite, Power BI, and reporting.
