Associate Professor - Social Sciences and Humanities - Hyderabad

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Professor to join our Department of Social Sciences and Humanities. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting scholarly research, and contributing to the department's academic and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching:Develop and deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise.
• Design innovative teaching methods and strategies to engage students.
• Mentor and advise students, both in and out of the classroom.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Research:Conduct original research in their field of specialization.
• Publish scholarly articles in reputable academic journals.
• Present research findings at conferences and workshops.
• Secure external funding to support research projects.
• Supervise graduate students and guide their research.
• Service:Participate in departmental and university committees.
• Serve on editorial boards of academic journals.
• Review manuscripts for publication.
• Engage in community outreach and public service activities.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program evaluation.

Qualifications:

• A Ph.D. in a relevant field of Social Sciences and Humanities from a recognized institution.
• A strong record of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Proven experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
