Integrated Logistics Senior Data Quality Engineer

Your Role
The role of Data Quality Engineer is vital for digital transformation journey of Kuehne + Nagel Integrated Logistics. The Data Specialist enables data centric supply chain management services, fulfilling customer's expectation on visibility, integration, resilience, analytics and sustainability.
Your Responsibilities
You will be working with internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key tasks: Collaborate with stakeholders to define key business data elements and establish data quality and business rules.
Document data standards and processes, ensuring harmonization across business processes, departments, and customers.Provide expertise on data standards during customer onboarding projects, validating data requirements and ensuring alignment with KNIL standards.
Coordinate business requirements related to stewarded data areas, assess impacts of data change requests, and resolve conflicts.
Work with stakeholders to define acceptable levels of data quality and promote practical understanding of data usage.
Optimize data gathering and flow processes internally and with external partners to ensure completeness, correctness, and accuracy of master and transactional data.
Facilitate automated order processing, event monitoring, proactive milestone management, and freight settlement through accurate data management.
Support Business Analytics and Continuous Improvement teams in standardizing KPIs, driving operational optimization, and identifying savings opportunities.
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor's or first university degree in business administration, logistics, IT, or equivalent with certification or degree in data governance, data stewardship, or data quality management will be preferred.Proven background in data quality management and data stewardship, with professional proficiency in Excel (including VBA), advanced skills in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and good SQL. Experience in Lean agile, Six Sigma, or Project Management is desirable.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a systematic approach to work.Ability to multitask and engage with diverse stakeholders, along with reliability, flexibility, and motivation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and deadline-oriented results delivery skills.
Proficiency in writing operating procedures and data definitions.
Understanding of data impact and usage in business processes and IT capabilities, affinity for working with diverse systems in the supply chain, commitment to improvement and excellence, enthusiasm for new roles and initiatives, proactive communication, and professionalism in dealing with customers.
