Payroll Analyst

Job Description

You are good with numbers and can be trusted with sensitive information. You have great communication skills to interact with colleagues and executives. Excellent with understanding of payroll processes and accounting for US/Singapore/India and Indonesia.

Location: Hyderabad / Remote/ Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Processes company's payroll every pay period for US/India/Singapore/Indonesia
• Collaborating with HR and payroll provider on system updates, reporting, and data management.
• Act as a first point of contact for Payroll and Benefits related matters.
• Responding to employee inquiries about pay, deductions, leave balances, and other payroll-related matters
• Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system.
• Process taxes and payment of employee benefits, Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
• Ensure delivery of payroll processing, operational aspects of payroll processing and associated activities that are accurately carried out on a month-on-month basis within appropriate timeframes.
• Process new hires and leavers payroll accurately in accordance with state rules and statutes.
• Review and complete tax and other statutory payroll filing prior to the due date.
• Preparation of payroll MIS, peoples advance, and medical insurance, etc.
• Adhere to statutory compliances and highlight shortfalls and risks.
• Support all internal and external audits related to payroll
• Handle Income tax and full and final settlements timely and accurately
• Computes employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes
• Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
• Receives and coordinates requests for leave and other absences
• Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law
• Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
• Honors confidentiality of employees pay records
• Completes payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review
• Monthly closure by accounting for monthly payroll on QuickBooks/Zoho to ensure correct payroll data flows in Company's Financial Statements.
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience of using QuickBooks for Accounting and ADP Total Source.
• Addition of new employees to the Payroll System and processing Full and Final Settlements for Exit Employees.
• Preparation and presentation are of weekly reports where cost saving opportunities and risks need to be highlighted.
• Maintenance of Bench Resource Costs and Project Wise Resource Mapping data.
• Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail, Proficient in MS Office tools like Ms Excel.

Knowledge And Skills:

• Basic understanding of accounting processes
• Hands-on experience with HRIS and accounting software
• An ability to work independently
• Good business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge in ADP is a more preferable
