- Proven experience in educational counseling, preferably 1 to 4 years
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to empathize with students and understand their needs
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of educational systems, curriculum, and career pathways
- Sales and convincing skills to assist students in making informed decisions
- Computer literacy and proficiency in using counseling software and tools
- Telecalling skills to reach out to students and parents
- Ability to drive results and meet counseling targets
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
- Provide counseling and guidance to students and parents regarding educational programs, career options, and courses for students who want to study abroad
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address academic, personal, and career-related concerns
- Assess the educational needs and requirements of students and recommend suitable programs and courses
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the education sector to provide accurate and up-to-date information to students
- Collaborate with educational institutions, employers, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate student placements and internships
- Maintain records of counseling sessions, student progress, and outcomes
- Participate in workshops, seminars, and training programs to enhance counseling skills
- Contribute to the development and improvement of counseling programs and services
