nJob Description

• nOperate within a global model and execute the strategy for Customs operations in the region
• nEnsure the pre-declaration review is performed including confirmation that valuation, classification, country of origin and any applicable special program documentation is complete before an import or export occurs.
• nWork with approved agents to support daily customs clearances and own shipment issue resolution
• nEnsure there are trained Custom Broker personnel supporting the Customs activities.
• nGenerate Duty Mandate form / Mypayment workflow/ SIMS/FIMS.
• nDaily management for all import shipments by reviewing Daily status report shared by Custom Broker.
• nPrepare periodic reports and metrics on duty, quality, savings, opportunities, risks, accomplishments and value creation.
• nLead Region Special Programs.
• nDaily management for all import shipments by reviewing Daily status report shared by Custom Broker.
• nManage local Customs agency relationships.
• nRespond to Internal/External requests & investigations.
• nLead and manage MOOWR operartion incluiding compliance.
• nConduct due diligence for local / regional agents on a need basis.
• nManage customs notices and engage legal support wherever needed.

• nFor roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Logistics & Customs Operations. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• nFor roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
• nBachelors degree from an accredited college or institution
• n6-10 years of experience in customs processes
• nCustoms Broker License or on a country level equal to it.
• nFluent business English in written and spoken.
