CANDIDATE'S PROFILE
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Engineer (Master's or Bachelor's degree) or highly experienced technician in disciplines such as in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, bioengineering, manufacturing or related field
A PhD/post-doc or Strong prior background in protein biochemistry including immunoassays, and protein modification/conjugation.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Lateral flow immunoassaysexperience is a must.
Work experience on Biodot/ Isoflow instruments, dispenser, Strip cutter and Sealer.
Candidates already developed Rapid test kit will be preferred.
Minimumof 3 years applicable work experience in Research and Development (R&D) within InVitroDiagnostics (IVD) development with specific expertise in developing LFA based diagnostic assays
Have good knowledge on Antibody & Antigen reaction, Gold nanoparticles preparation.
Should have good knowledge on GMP, SOP.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development of individual assays from individual feasibility studies through transfer to the Biolockey's platform, verification studies, and clinical validation
Formulate buffers, AuNP conjugation, and other solutions required to develop individual assays in a POC format
Proficiency in handling human-origin sample materials like whole blood, plasma, and serum.
Improve stability of reagents and improved methods for conjugation of AuNPs to reagents
Participate in the systematic assessment of input materials, formulations, and setups for lateral flow immunoassays.
Collect data to support the creation of manufacturing and testing protocols.
Mathematically and statistically analyze and interpret test results using IT tools.
Document and evaluate experimental test procedures and results in detailed protocols.
Generate specification documents, including manufacturing instructions, forms, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Develop new processes to scale up and enhance reagent production
Plan individual experiments for test and system development based on general specifications or in consultation with supervisors.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Knowledge of experimental design & interpretation
Laboratory skills, such as protein purification, antibody conjugation, solution preparation, ELISA experience, immunoassay development skills, etc.
Basic algebraic, statistical and mathematical skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Deep technical knowledge in at least one area related to IVD development with the ability to solve technical problems through individual effort where required
