What will you do
The Web Strategy Leader will lead and oversee the technical and strategic management of greytHR's website and related digital assets. They will be instrumental in defining the website's strategic direction, ensuring it serves as a high-performing, user-friendly, and accessible platform that aligns with business goals, marketing campaigns, and product launches.
The role involves technical oversight, user experience (UX) enhancement, performance tracking, and cross-departmental collaboration to maintain a cohesive and innovative web presence.
Key Responsibilities
Website Strategy and Development- Define and execute a comprehensive web strategy that aligns with greytHR's objectives and priorities.
- Oversee the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the website to ensure scalability, responsiveness, and performance.
- Lead the development and application of best practices for website IA (information architecture), UX, and metadata frameworks.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the website's user interface (UI) and design standards to ensure a cohesive and engaging experience.
- Monitor and enhance website performance metrics, including SEO, page load times, and conversion rates.
- Use tools like Google Analytics or equivalent platforms to track, analyze, and report on website engagement.
- Leverage user research and usability testing to optimize navigation, design, and content.
- Track and improve KPIs like Traffic, Leads, MQLs coming from website.
- Ensure seamless integration of the website with CRM, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms.
- Provide strategic guidance on digital marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, SEO/SEM, and content marketing.
- Support the implementation of accessible, inclusive, and user-centric web practices.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to align the website with broader organizational strategies.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, designers, and digital specialists to deliver on key initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for web-related partnerships with all stakeholders.
- Provide training and support for internal teams on best practices for web content management and digital marketing tools.
- Develop resources and guidelines to enhance understanding and consistency in web-related activities across teams.
- Ensure compliance and privacy laws (e.g., GDPR), and other relevant regulations.
- Proactively identify and address security vulnerabilities in collaboration with IT teams.
Qualifications And Skills
Education- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Digital Communications, or a related field. Masters would be an advantage.
- 10+ years of experience in web strategy, digital marketing, or related fields.
- Proven expertise in website A/B testing using tools VWO or equivalent, information architecture, and website optimization.
- Experience managing and integrating CMS platforms (e.g., Dato CMS, WordPress, or equivalent).
- Strong background in analytics and digital marketing, including SEO, SEM and AISEO (Artificial Intelligence Search Engine Optimization)
- Experience in ensuring relevance for AI-powered search engines or recommendation systems
- Leadership experience with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Deep understanding of user behavior, audience personas, and journey mapping.
- Strong technical skills in new age web technologies.
- Hands-on experience with design tools, usability testing, and performance tracking.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
