Job Summary: IT Support Engineer

Familiarity with troubleshooting tools, AGILE methodologies, and IT ticketing systems such as JIRA is highly desirable.

Experience: 2-3 years of experience in IT support and system administration

• Provide technical support and resolve IT-related issues for hardware, software, and network systems.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot server environments, including Linux-based systems.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
• Configure and maintain task management tools like Celery and Redis for system efficiency.
• Support PostgreSQL (PSQL) databases, ensuring data integrity and resolving performance issues.
• Implement and enforce IT best practices, including security, data backup, and system performance optimization.
• Respond promptly to support requests, diagnose technical issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT systems with organizational processes.
• Document troubleshooting processes and system changes for future reference.
• Participate in AGILE practices and manage tasks using JIRA or similar tools.
• Stay updated on emerging IT technologies and recommend improvements for existing systems.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in IT support and system administration.
• Proficient in managing Linux environments and troubleshooting system issues.
• Solid knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with task management tools such as Celery and Redis.
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting PostgreSQL (PSQL) databases.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting network-related issues.
• Familiarity with AGILE methodologies and IT ticketing systems like JIRA.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience with IT automation tools like Docker or Ansible.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and its integration with IT systems.
• Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Familiarity with front-end troubleshooting (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or CompTIA Network+.
