Jaipur - Human Resources Manager - Amanbagh & Aman-I-khas

Overview:

The Human Resources Manager's responsibilities include recruitment, wage and salary survey/administration, classification of jobs and employees, training and developing potential employees, being a business partner in the business to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Human Resources Department and that all policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.

Responsibilities:

HUMAN RESOURCE FUNCTIONS
  • Develop and execute a strategic HR plan across both properties, ensuring alignment with Aman’s business goals.
  • Define competencies, prepare a competency framework, and conduct competency mapping exercises for both units.
  • Develop clear job descriptions in consultation with Heads of Departments (HODs) and the Unit Heads at Amanbagh and Aman-I-Khas.
  • Manage the recruitment cycle (internal/external) based on competency frameworks, ensuring the right talent acquisition for both locations.
  • Oversee candidate shortlisting, interview scheduling, and final selection in collaboration with unit leadership, while ensuring alignment with Aman’s hiring standards.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding and induction programs customized for each unit.
  • Identify training needs and implement training and development programs for employees across both properties.
  • Establish Key Result Areas (KRAs) for employees and conduct timely performance appraisals (probationary, annual).
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives tailored to the needs of each property, fostering motivation and retention.
ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS
  • Liaison with local Administration and legal team on Administrative issues.
  • Ensure efficient cafeteria management and high-quality staff meals in collaboration with the Kitchen Head at both properties.
  • Ensure timely medical assistance for staff and families, including insurance contracts for both Amanbagh and Aman-I-Khas.
  • Oversee staff uniform procurement, including vendor selection and inventory management for both units
  • Ensure seamless staff transportation services, including contract negotiations with transport providers.
  • Secure safe and comfortable accommodations for staff, managing lease agreements across locations.
  • Supervise security arrangements, ensuring contractor compliance and adherence to safety standards at both units.
  • Maintain optimal office infrastructure, including ergonomic seating, lighting, ventilation, water, sanitation, and locker facilities.
  • Organize recreational activities such as sports events, cultural celebrations, and community-building initiatives for both properties.
  • Foster a well-maintained work environment, including landscaped gardens and relaxation areas.
PERSONNEL & INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS FUNCTIONS
  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment advertisements and interviews to onboarding and documentation.
  • Ensure seamless joining formalities, including personal file maintenance, bank account setup, ID issuance, and uniform distribution.
  • Supervise attendance, leave records, and payroll processing for both Amanbagh and Aman-I-Khas.
  • Handle statutory compliance, ensuring adherence to labor laws, including The Shops & Commercial Establishment Act, Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, PF Act, and Contract Labour Act.
  • Negotiate and manage agreements with staff-related service providers (transport, security, labor supply, accommodation).
  • Liaise with government authorities such as PF, ESIC, Labour Commissioner, local police, and administrative offices.
  • Issue disciplinary notices, warning letters, and other HR interventions as required.
  • Foster strong employer-employee relations to maintain a harmonious and productive workplace.
