Job Overview:

The Onboarding Associate designs and improves the organization's onboarding experience, ensures a smooth onboarding process for new hires, collaborates to enhance the Day 1 experience, and promotes employee engagement. Additionally, the role involves providing operational support and driving talent engagement initiatives at the location in collaboration with the People Partner.

Key Responsibilities

Orientation & Engagement:

  • Design and conduct engaging & Informative orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with the company's mission, values, and structure.
  • Foster a positive and high energy environment for new hires on the day of onboarding.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth Day 1 experience.
  • Continuously improve onboarding processes for efficiency and inclusivity.

Pre- and Post-Onboarding Processes:

  • Oversee the entire onboarding lifecycle to be single touchpoint post offer acceptance and engage talent till onboarding.
  • Manage onboarding logistics and compliance
  • Champion a culture of inclusion and belonging by connecting new hires with key stakeholders, colleagues, and mentorship opportunities.
  • Create a feedback-driven onboarding framework

Talent Engagement & Integration:

  • Develop talent engagement programs to integrate new employees.
  • Connect new hires with peers, mentors, and leadership for a sense of belonging.
  • Support to Location HR Business Partner:
  • Assist HR Business Partner with operational support on location specific people initiatives, employee check in and pulse
  • Collaborate on talent engagement initiatives with People Partner

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Engage with HR, IT, and Facilities to ensure a smooth onboarding process and share necessary information and updates.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related fields. A master's degree would be preferred.
  • Experience: 6-18 months in onboarding, HR generalist or employee engagement, with exposure to facilitating training sessions/public speaking/managing corporate events, and stakeholder management.
Skills
  • 1. Technical: Proficient in HRIS systems, onboarding platforms, and Microsoft Suite with basic data analysis experience for improving the onboarding process.
  • 2. Communication: Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse audiences.
  • 3. Organizational: Eye for detail, with a high appetite to learn and explore, and expert in time management and meeting delivery timelines.
