Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled MEP Design Engineer to join our team at Inches N Feet. As an MEP Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for our diverse range of projects.This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, offering a competitive salary range and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals in the architecture and planning industry.
Qualifications and Skills- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a MEP Design Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of MEP design principles, building codes, and regulations
- Proficiency in Revit, and other MEP design software
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and MEP coordination
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Design and coordinate the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various projects
- Prepare detailed MEP drawings, layouts, and specifications using Revit software
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information and ensure the accurate implementation of MEP systems
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop cost-effective and energy-efficient designs
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards
- Review and analyze project specifications and technical requirements
- Select appropriate equipment and materials for MEP systems
- Perform calculations and simulations to optimize system performance
- Prepare project reports, cost estimates, and progress updates
- Assist in the coordination and supervision of MEP installations
- Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in MEP design
