Job Description
Epicor is seeking for a passionate Product Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work with development teams to define, implement and deploy micro services into our shared services platform. You will be able to provide insight into the architecture and help pave the way for our technology, while collaborating with multiple different teams in a very exciting devops/gitops environment.
What You Will Do- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new services and features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- 3+ years of experience with Azure, AWS or GCP
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of cloud software applications, including Kubernetes Service
- Experience designing, building and testing applications with a high-level languages such as C#, Java, Go, Python and Javascript.
- Experience with one or more relational and no-sql databases, such as SQL Server, Postgres, CosmosDB, Dynamo and Redis.
- Experience with using event-based platforms such as Kafka or other queuing systems.
- Knowledge in IaC technologies like Terraform, Pulumi, arc, bicep, etc
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Experience with cloud scalability, monitoring, and performance
- Experience with managing cloud costs
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS and GCP
- Experience with Azure certifications, such as Azure Developer Associate and/or AWS Certified Developer
Additional Notes: The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their experience with cloud standardization and patterns by providing examples of times when they have successfully implemented them in a real-world environment. They will also be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
