Electrical Design Engineer
Job Description
Industry: Automation / Manufacturing Industry (Heavy Machinery / Electrical)
Key Responsibilities:
Design and development of PLC control panels.
Create Electrical CAD & E-Plan drawings for system layouts.
Perform PLC I/O (Input/Output) calculations and design.
Select appropriate control devices for automation systems.
Design and structure network architecture for electrical systems.
Develop panel layout designs and ensure efficient wiring.
Handle wiring of special purpose machines (SPMs).
Required Knowledge:
Understanding of electrical panel layouts and control & operator panels wiring (SLD, Detailed IO designs).
Experience with sensors, cylinder reed switches, and pneumatic wiring and piping.
Proficient in software tools like AutoCAD and E-Plan.
Required Skills:
Experience in electrical control design, electric panel design, and circuit design (500-700 I/O systems).
Proficient in AutoCAD, E-Plan, and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of basic electrical calculations.
Analytical thinking and strategic problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of sensors, drives, PLC, and panel wiring.
Ability to work independently and handle design tasks solo.
