Overview:

The consultant will be involved in building RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) to support business processes and ensure the smooth integration of SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1.??Development of RICEF objects:
• Design and develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms based on business needs.
• Ensure adherence to development standards and guidelines.
• 2.??Requirement Gathering:
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements.
• Provide technical expertise to analyze functional requirements and propose solutions.
• 3.??Coding and Customization:
• Develop custom ABAP programs to support business processes, including classical and interactive reports.
• Implement ALV reporting, SAP Scripts, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and User Exits.
• Develop and enhance interfaces using IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and Web Services.
• 4.??Conversions:
• Perform data migration and conversion activities using BDC, LSMW, or custom ABAP programs.
• 5.??Enhancements:
• Implement SAP enhancements using user exits, BAdIs, enhancement points, and implicit/explicit enhancements.
• Work on custom enhancements to meet specific business requirements.
• 6.??Testing and Debugging:
• Perform unit testing and support functional teams during user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in ABAP programs and SAP systems.
• 7.??Documentation:
• Prepare technical specifications and documentation for the developed RICEF objects.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all custom developments.
• 8.??Performance Tuning:
• Optimize ABAP programs for better performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues in custom objects.
• 9.??Support and Maintenance:
• Provide post-go-live support for custom developments.
• Monitor and resolve incidents related to RICEF objects in production systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a focus on RICEF objects.
• Experience working in various SAP modules (SD, MM, FI, CO, PP, etc.).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in ABAP programming, including classical and ALV reporting, Dialog Programming, and Module Pool Programming.
• Strong expertise in SAP Scripts, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms.
• Experience with ABAP Objects, IDoc, BAPI, RFC, Web Services, and OData services.
• Knowledge of SAP Enhancement Framework (user exits, BAdIs, enhancements).
• Familiarity with performance tuning and debugging techniques in ABAP.
• Tools:
• SAP ABAP Workbench, Eclipse for ABAP, Solution Manager, and version control tools.
