We are building out our team responsible for control self-assessment work. This is starting at the application control area but will expand to other areas over the next few years. You will be responsible for working with individuals across the organization to assess their IT General Control effectiveness and application inherent risk rating.This position sits within the Global Security Services (GSS) organization and will include responsibilities related to control self-assessments, IT General Controls Assessments, and general stakeholder management. The role reports to the Security and Regulatory Assurance Senior Team Leader.
A successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, with in-depth knowledge of the latest industry standards, procedures, and approaches to control self-assessment.

What the day will look like- Organizing activities in support to the successful execution of the control self-assessments
- Assisting with the communication of the need for this program and its benefit to our stakeholders and product owners
- Analysis of the results of the above activities to identify trends and gaps in the Aon organization
- Any bachelor’s degree with preference to an information technology or business degree
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in control evaluation, testing, internal audit, or external audit functions
- Ability to independently manage workload to achieve agreed upon milestones
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, include Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Feels comfortable speaking in group meetings
- Experience performing control testing and measurement
- Desire to work on a global team with the possibility of working adjusted hours to accommodate global time zones
