Job Summary

As a Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Developer, you will be a key contributor in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce CPQ solutions to streamline the quote-to-cash process. Your primary focus will be on leveraging Salesforce CPQ capabilities to meet business requirements, improve sales efficiency, and enhance overall customer experience.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a deep understanding of Salesforce CPQ functionalities will be essential in driving successful project outcomes.

Educational Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Having a strong understanding of software development principles, coding languages (such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
  • Hands-on experience through internships, projects, or relevant work experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ to meet business needs, including pricing, quoting, and product configurations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate complex business requirements into effective Salesforce CPQ solutions.
  • Perform Code Review and Code Optimization on APEX & LWC
  • Partner with functional team members to improve the end-user experience across our processes like quoting, billing, invoicing, and subscription management
  • Develop operational excellence across the cross-functional environment including development, data cleanliness, privacy, security, tracking and reporting of essential metrics
  • Integrate Salesforce CPQ with other Salesforce clouds or external systems.
  • Provide support, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks within Salesforce CPQ.
  • Integrate Salesforce CPQ with other Salesforce Clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and external systems to ensure seamless end-to-end processes.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and other teams to gather requirements and implement CPQ solutions that align with business processes.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for CPQ configurations and processes within Salesforce.
  • Provide training to end-users and support teams, ensuring they are proficient in using Salesforce CPQ features.
  • Continuing education and staying updated with the latest Salesforce CPQ developments are also beneficial.
  • Upgrade the knowledge with each release and follow best industry practices and standards while providing the IT solution.
Key Skills Required
  • Understanding and hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, including its features, configurations, and limitations.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce platform concepts and development (Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce Lightning).
  • Ability to configure complex pricing rules, product bundles, discount schedules, and quote templates within Salesforce CPQ.
  • Must have SFDC Configuration including but not limited to Workflows, Validations, Approval Process
  • Must have Hands-on Customization APEX, VisualForce, Triggers, Batch, Schedule Apex, VF Components, Test Class and CPQ Plugins
  • Must have Knowledge Billing technical expertise.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand requirements, and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
