Project Role : IT Supplier Management Practitioner
Project Role Description : Work with key IT suppliers (either for Accenture internally or for clients) by assisting on supplier selection, management and related procurement for a limited number of strategic suppliers. Also responsible for assisting in architecting, selling and delivering IT Spend Management (IT Business Management) services to clients, including proposal creation, service delivery cost estimating, due diligence, negotiating and contracting with suppliers, client presentations, and client service delivery.

Summary:

As an Infrastructure Service Management Practitioner, you will be responsible for working with key IT suppliers and assisting in architecting, selling, and delivering IT Spend Management services to clients. Your typical day will involve managing and maintaining IT infrastructure services, ensuring their availability and reliability.

  1. Impact and Value: Focus on creating a measurable difference and creating value perceived by the client:
  1. Demonstrate the value of Service Management by improving SLAs / KPIs i.e., by reducing the number of incidents, recurring incidents, MTBF, resolution time, failed changes, change variance, business impact and improving efficiency of Known errors.
  2. Ensure “Zero” escalations from client and no “NCs or Observations” during Internal or External audits.
  1. Cross-Functional Priorities: Aligning with team / Organizational goal.
  1. Implement “Cross Functional Service Management” collaboration across each level with required trainings and job rotations.
  2. Evaluate the contribution of team leads (CL-9 and above) to innovate and continuously improve “Cross Functional Service Management” process and thereby reduce cost.
  1. Efficiency: Reduce waste, do more with less and remain focused on what is relevant
  1. Demonstrate the value of CSI through tangible improvements, such as cost savings, improved productivity, and revenue generation. (Minimum 2 CSI implementation a year)

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure services, ensuring their availability and reliability.
  • Work with key IT suppliers to assist in supplier selection, management, and related procurement for a limited number of strategic suppliers.
  • Assist in architecting, selling, and delivering IT Spend Management services to clients, including proposal creation, service delivery cost estimating, due diligence, negotiating and contracting with suppliers, client presentations, and client service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with IT Service Management processes and procedures, including Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services to clients.
Professional & Technical Skills:
  • Must To Have Skills: Strong knowledge of Infrastructure Service Management processes and procedures.
  • Good To Have Skills: Experience in Incident Management and Change Management.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining IT infrastructure services.
  • Experience in working with key IT suppliers and managing related procurement activities.
  • Strong understanding of IT Spend Management services, including proposal creation, service delivery cost estimating, due diligence, negotiating and contracting with suppliers, client presentations, and client service delivery.
Additional Information:
  • The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Service Management.
