Jubilant Pharmova Limited (formerly Jubilant Life Sciences Limited) is a company with global presence that is involved in Radiopharma, Allergy Immunotherapy, CDMO Sterile Injectables, Contract Research Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CRDMO), Generics and Proprietary Novel Drugs businesses.

In the Radiopharma business, the Company is involved in manufacturing and supply of Radiopharmaceuticals with a network of 46 radio-pharmacies in the US. The Company's Allergy Immunotherapy business is involved in the manufacturing and supply of allergic extracts and venom products in the US and in some other markets such as Canada, Europe and Australia.

Jubilant through its CDMO Sterile Injectables business offers manufacturing services including sterile fill and finish injectables (both liquid and lyophilization), full-service ophthalmic offer (liquids, ointments & creams) and ampoules.

The CRDMO business of the Company includes the Drug Discovery Services business that provides contract research and development services through two world-class research centres in Bangalore and Noida in India and the CDMO-API business that is involved in the manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.

Jubilant Therapeutics is involved in Proprietary Novel Drugs business and is an innovative biopharmaceutical company developing breakthrough therapies in the area of oncology and autoimmune disorders. The company operates six manufacturing facilities that cater to all the regulated market including USA, Europe and other geographies.

The Position

Organization : - Jubilant Pharmova Limited
Designation & Level: - Associate Director/ Director-HR

Location : - Noida

Job Summary: - We are looking for someone who is excited and able to connect dots, enable effective change management, and help turn ideas into transformational strategies and design repeatable, dependable processes, with an eye towards data and best practice development.

An individual who has experience in Human Capital consulting, particularly HR Transformation and/or HR Operations with focus on technology deployment is preferred.

Reporting Manager: - Head Global TA and HRBP
Direct Reports (Optional): - 1-2
Team Size (Optional): - 1-2

Matrix Relationship (Optional): -

Key Responsibilities

Specific points around:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of strategic projects across a number of HR focus areas from ideation to implementation
  • Support CHRO in making key decisions- which can be anything from vendor selection to coming up with the next-gen product or technology deployment across the conglomerate

Manpower Planning:

  • Driving manpower planning and budgeting for the function
  • Support business in defining the JDs, adherence to defined and agreed organization structure, raising flags as necessary with respect to Headcount ratios.
  • Participate in the panel for the interview and selection process.
  • Ensuring internal parity in terms of grade, experience and compensation.
  • Provide necessary guidance & sign off on final hiring decisions up to middle management levels on lateral hiring.

Performance Management:

  • Work with leaders to cascade organizational & functional goals with objective metrics. Facilitating workshops with employees to ensure SMART goals are defined and evaluated.
  • Ensure high HRIS adoption
  • Partnering with Business for PIP and in difficult conversations as required.
  • Defining and implementing an objective process for role change / promotion Communicating with employees at appropriate stages during the process Ensure timeline closure of all process.
  • Lead the Job evaluation process for aligned function.

Talent Management & Learning & Development:

  • Facilitating identification and development of talent and successors across Corporate HR.
  • Driving cross movement of talent,
  • Driving impactful learning with respect to behavioral interventions along with COE support.

Additional Projects: Drive any additional project of the function or overall organization, as called upon.

Person Profile

Qualification: -
  • MBA HR from XLRI/TISS preffered
Experience:- (below are Sample points)
  • 6+ years of exp.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization.
  • An excellent people manager and leader; able to recruit, develop and retain a high calibre team across diverse departments.
  • Able to work effectively within a global business culture whilst also adaptable to the local cultural environment.
  • Ability to energise his/her team with a clear vision of the business
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Should have an entrepreneurial mind-set
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
