Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - Automation Engineer
We are looking for a skilled Senior QA Engineer with expertise in test automation, API testing,BDD & Playwright, data quality assurance to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Playwright and have proficiency in Selenium BDD for automation tasks.You will play a key role in designing, developing, and executing automation tests, ensuring the quality and integrity of the data, and working in BDD environment to design and execute test cases.
Responsibilities- Experience in Software Testing of Web , API and Desktop applications
- Experience in Test Automation tools like Selenium, Playwright
- Experience with new QA technology and trends including BDD, TDD, RPA, and model-based testing
- Experience with Cucumber BDD, Selenium web driver, Playwright, Eclipse IDE/IntelliJ IDE, TestNG , Maven, GitHub and Jenkins
- Experience in Java, Javascript and SQL skills
- Dev/Sec/Ops experience
- Experience in Specialty Pharmacy domain
- Strong experience working with Rally or other Agile Software Development tools
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor&rsquos or master&rsquos degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in API testing and automation using tools like Karate, postman or similar.
- Strong programming skills for test automation using Playwright
- Expertise in BDD test case design and tools like Cucumber, Behave or similar.
- Solid understanding of data quality testing principles and practices.
- Hands on experience in an agile development environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Prior experience in a consulting role or client-facing environment is highly desirable.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent are a plus.
