Shift Supervisor - CNC machining

Job Description

We are hiring for Q2Q.

• Overseeing CNC machining operations during the shift.
• Ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards.
• Managing and supervising CNC operators, machinists, and other shop floor staff.
• Assigning work, monitoring performance, and ensuring safety compliance.
• Providing training and support to employees.
• Addressing any personnel or production issues that arise.
• Ensuring parts meet specifications by conducting quality checks.
• Reviewing blueprints, CAD models, and job orders.
• Working with quality inspectors to maintain precision and accuracy.
• Monitoring CNC machines for proper functioning.
• Coordinating maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues.
• Enforcing workplace safety standards and ensuring PPE use.
• Conducting safety checks and addressing hazards promptly.
• Updating production managers on shift performance and any issues.
• Keeping records of production output, downtime, and efficiency.
• Communicating shift handovers effectively.

• Highschool diploma
• Knowledge of GD&T is a must
• 5+ years of experience in CNC machining or related industry
• Strong knowledge of G code and M code
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
