Job Description -
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Functional ERP Expert to join our IT team. This role involves working closely with business units to understand their processes and needs, translating these into functional requirements, and implementing ERP solutions to support business operations.You will play a pivotal role in optimizing the ERP system for improved efficiency, accuracy, and business growth.
Requirements- Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering:
- Work closely with stakeholders (including business users, managers, and IT teams) to understand and document their functional requirements and workflows.
- Analyse existing business processes and systems to identify areas of improvement and propose ERP solutions that meet business needs.
- ERP System Implementation and Configuration:
- Support ERP implementation projects, including planning, testing, training, and go-live support.
- Oversee data migration activities from legacy systems to the ERP platform ensuring requirements are met and data migration is validated.
- Customization and Integration:
- Coordinate and manage ERP system customizations and enhancements requirement, ensuring they align with business goals.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide functional support for users, resolving system issues and troubleshooting.
- Deliver training sessions and user manuals for ERP modules to end-users, enabling them to fully utilize the system.
- Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline business processes through the ERP system.
- Proactively recommend improvements to the system to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance system performance.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation (requirements, configurations, process flows, etc.).
- Generate reports and analytics to support decision-making and business operations.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. A master's degree or ERP certification is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 - 9 years of experience in a functional ERP role, preferably with [Insert ERP software, e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.].
- Proven experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and system configuration.
- Exposure to Master Data Management implementations, providing the integration requirements between ERP and MDM
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of ERP modules, such as Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Manufacturing, Sales, and Procurement.
- Good insight on ERP processes that include O2C, P2P etc.
- Ability to translate business needs into functional system specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
