In your new role you will:

• Project Planning and Initiation:

1. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
2. Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, and timelines.
3. Identify and assess potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.

• Cloud and Firmware Deployment:

1. Manage the deployment of IoT software solutions to cloud platforms(e.g., AWS, Azure).
2. Oversee the development and deployment of firmware for IoT devices.
3. Ensure seamless integration of cloud and firmware components.

• Quality Assurance and Testing:

1. Coordinate with quality assurance to identify and resolve defects.
2. Ensure that all software components meet quality and security standards.

• Stakeholder Management:

1. Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders.
2. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that their needs are met.
3. Foster strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Your Profile

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in IoT software development.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
• Strong understanding of IoT technologies, including cloud platforms, firmware development, and device management.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project)
• Certifications - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, CSPO).
• Experience with IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT).
• Familiarity with IoT device management platforms (e.g., AWS IoT Core).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with cloud-based IoT services (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub).
