Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join our team at SATRAC ENGINEERING PRIVATE LIMITED in Bangalore Rural. This is a full-time, junior-level position requiring a minimum of 1 year and maximum of 3 years of work experience. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards and maintaining a safe working environment.
Qualifications And Skills- Experienced in performing safety inspections and implementing improvements to reduce potential hazards.
- Ability to identify potential safety hazardous situations and propose actionable solutions efficiently.
- Proficient in understanding and applying safety regulations and standards (Mandatory skill).
- Holds a Diploma in Health & Safety, demonstrating foundational expertise in safety protocols (Mandatory skill).
- Skilled in fire safety, including prevention, protection mechanisms, and response strategies (Mandatory skill).
- Effective communication skills to report safety concerns, provide guidelines, and engage with various stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset to assess risk factors on different projects and suggest preventive measures.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain detailed logs and records of safety inspections, audits, and compliance records.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits at worksites to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Identify and resolve hazardous situations, ensuring safety measures are implemented and followed across all operations.
- Develop and review safety plans in coordination with the management team, promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
- Provide comprehensive safety training to employees, highlighting best practices, potential risks, and emergency protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, safety violations, and necessary corrective actions in a detailed and organized manner.
- Collaborate with department heads to create and maintain a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.
- Ensure all fire safety equipment is in working order and perform drills to prepare for emergency situations effectively.
- Stay updated on current safety regulations and technological advancements to continuously improve safety processes.
