Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Analyst (IT Software) at Techsaga Corporations in Noida. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting business requirements, and communicating effectively with stakeholders to drive successful projects and digital initiatives.

Job Description:

This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for software projects. Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather comprehensive input.
2. Analysis and Documentation: Analyze gathered requirements to identify patterns, trends, and potential issues. Document detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria using standard templates and tools.
3. Requirement Validation: Work closely with development teams to ensure that requirements are clear, feasible, and aligned with project goals. Clarify ambiguities and resolve conflicts through effective communication and negotiation.
4. Project Planning: Assist in project planning and estimation activities by providing input on resource requirements, timelines, and dependencies. Contribute to the creation of project plans, roadmaps, and sprint backlogs.
5. Communication Bridge: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Facilitate communication, manage expectations, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
6. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios, validate test cases, and participate in testing activities to ensure that developed solutions meet quality standards and user expectations.
7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains within the business analysis function. Propose and implement enhancements to tools, methodologies, and workflows.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Business Analyst in the IT software industry, preferably within a software development or consulting environment.
3. Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
4. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
6. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in documentation and analysis.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
