Job Title: Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist (Engineering Hiring)

We are looking for a dynamic Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist with 3-5 years of hands-on technical hiring experience to help us expand our engineering team, primarily in MEAN and MERN stack roles.

Role Overview: As a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment of engineering positions, especially within the MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) and MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) stacks. You will partner closely with Engineering and Product leaders to identify, attract, and hire top talent for Senior Software Engineers, Engineering Managers, and Principal Software Engineers.

  • Cycle Recruitment
  • Manage the complete recruiting lifecycle: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, negotiating offers, and onboarding.
  • Maintain proactive communication with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  1. Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Management - Utilize multiple sourcing channels (job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, social networks) to build a strong pipeline of qualified engineering candidates. - Continuously explore new and creative ways to source niche or specialized talent.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with Engineering Managers and other stakeholders to understand role requirements, technical skill sets, and team culture.
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment progress, market insights, and any bottlenecks.
  1. Technical Screening & Assessment
  • Conduct preliminary assessments of candidates technical skills, focusing on MEAN/MERN technologies.
  • Coordinate technical interviews and ensure timely, constructive feedback loops with interview panels.
  1. Employer Branding & Candidate Experience - Represent Akrivia HCM at networking events, webinars, and job fairs to strengthen employer branding. - Ensure a seamless and engaging recruitment process, reinforcing Akrivia HCMs reputation as an employer of choice.

  • Driven Recruitment
  • Track and analyze key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline conversion rates, offer acceptance rates).
  • Use data to propose and implement process improvements.
  1. Continuous Improvement - Stay informed about the latest recruitment trends, industry best practices, and innovative sourcing techniques. - Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition strategies and processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience: 3-5 years of technical recruitment experience, particularly in hiring for MEAN/MERN stack roles and senior engineering positions (Senior Software Engineers, Engineering Managers, Principal Engineers).

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software development principles and the MEAN/MERN tech stack (JavaScript, Node.js, React, Angular, MongoDB)

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage candidates and stakeholders. - Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and nurture relationships, handle multiple priorities, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment

Tools & Systems: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other sourcing tools.

Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret recruiting analytics and utilize data-driven decision making.
