Business Analyst Accident & Health Insurance

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and optimize insurance forms (policy, claims, underwriting) for compliance and process improvement.
• Ensure all forms align with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, ACA).
• Evaluate workflows for insurance processes (claims, policy administration) to identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and streamlining.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (underwriters, claims adjusters, IT, compliance) to gather and document business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical documentation.
• Conduct workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate findings and propose solutions.
• Analyze data from insurance systems to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making.
• Ensure all processes and forms meet compliance and mitigate risks.

Skills:

• Proficiency in business analysis tools (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with insurance systems (policy administration, claims management software).
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL (preferred).
