  1. Job Summary:
We seek to engage an experienced Salesforce Team Lead to oversee development, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce solutions tailored for nonprofit and CDFI operations for US based Clients. This role requires technical expertise in Salesforce development, system architecture, and team leadership to drive innovation and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that Salesforce effectively supports fundraising, grant management, loan servicing, and impact measurement.

  1. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Lead a team of Salesforce developers, administrators, and analysts to design and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a Salesforce roadmap aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Serve as the primary technical advisor on Salesforce-related initiatives for cross-functional teams.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Salesforce Development & Architecture:

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, workflows, integrations, and automation.
  • Provide technical guidance on Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with industry regulations (e.g., nonprofit funding requirements, CDFI financial compliance).
  • Manage Salesforce integrations with external platforms such as donor management systems, financial applications, and impact measurement tools.

Process Optimization & Innovation:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline business processes using Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, Reports, and Dashboards).
  • Implement and manage Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) or Financial Services Cloud (FSC) to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Establish best practices for change management, testing, and deployment within the Salesforce environment.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce releases and nonprofit/CDFI trends to recommend new features and improvements.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Training:

  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating business needs into Salesforce solutions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and administrators.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance Salesforce adoption across the organization.
  1. Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) or Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams, manage projects, and collaborate with business stakeholders.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party tools such as accounting software, grant management platforms, or donor databases.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance within nonprofit or financial services environments.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification required; Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Consultant or Financial Services Cloud certification is a plus.
  1. Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working in nonprofit or CDFI sectors, particularly with fundraising, grants, loan servicing, and impact measurement.
  • Familiarity with donor management tools (e.g., Classy, Give Lively, iATS) and financial systems.
  • Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies and tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes and DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Copado, or Gearset).
  • Understanding of AI-driven Salesforce features and automation tools
