Job Summary
As a Technical Program Manager at 2070Health, you will lead the development and implementation of complex, high-impact projects within our healthcare technology portfolio. Reporting directly to the CTO, and leveraging your 6-7 years of experience—including working closely with founders—you’ll coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that enhance healthcare delivery and streamline operations.You’ll play a key role in managing timelines, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring project success from inception through launch, with a focus on high-quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Program Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of projects in our healthcare tech environment, from initial planning and scoping to execution, quality control, and final delivery.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the bridge between product, engineering, operations, and clinical teams to drive project alignment and ensure that deliverables meet both business objectives and healthcare compliance standards.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain consistent, transparent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and reporting on project status, risks, and issues.
Collaboration with Founders and CTO: Work closely with the founding team and CTO to translate strategic vision into actionable technical roadmaps and project plans. Understand and implement the vision and priorities set by the leadership to drive business outcomes.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks that may impact timelines, budgets, or scope, working closely with teams to implement contingency plans.
Process Optimization: Evaluate and refine project management processes within the team, identifying areas for improvement and standardizing best practices to increase team efficiency and project quality.
Technical Insight: Engage with project details, contributing technical understanding and making informed decisions to guide the team toward successful implementation.
Healthcare Compliance: Ensure that all project activities comply with healthcare regulations and standards, including data privacy, security, and interoperability requirements.
Requirements- Experience: 5 years in technical program management or a related role, ideally within the healthcare or health tech industry, with proven experience working directly with founders or executive leadership.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Management, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred).
- Project Management Skills: Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and other relevant methodologies. Hands-on experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, or equivalent.
- Technical Background: Familiarity with healthcare technology, EMR systems, data integration, APIs, and software development processes.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges in fast-paced, regulated environments.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership and team collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive projects without direct authority.
- Experience in the healthcare technology or health tech sector.
- Understanding of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
- Relevant certifications (PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification).
- Experience with data privacy and security regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
