Our first brand, Aramya, has achieved 10X growth in recent months, driven by in-house manufacturing and deep customer insights. We're excited to accelerate this growth further and launch new brands.

We're looking for a passionate brand marketeer to drive brand building & organic reach.

About the Opportunity:

This role is pivotal in sourcing fabric for the Aramya brand.

Expectations:

1. Sourcing Management

• Timely PO placement to suppliers with agreed Commercial terms and share of business.
• Follow-up with suppliers to ensure material is supplied within agreed TAT and weekly targets are met.
• Coordinate with QC team and testing laboratory to provide timely approval to vendors and share feedback for any corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse and Finance team for timely receipt of goods and payment to vendors.
• Ensure rejected items are sent back to suppliers timely with proper accounting.
• Timely ledger reconciliation with the vendors and obtain NDCs from the suppliers.

1. Vendor Development

• Identify and evaluate new vendors for Fabric and other materials.
• Collaborating with the vendors to drive improvement in quality and cost optimization.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.

1. Quality Management

• Coordinate with QC team and vendors to identify key reasons for quality issues. CAPA management to mitigate the risk.
• Ensure fabric approval flows are maintained as per laid down policy and SOPs are followed without deviation.

Ideal Candidate:

• Degree or diploma in Textile, Fashion Design or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience in fabric, greige, trims and raw materials sourcing.
• Technical knowledge about various printing and dyeing processes (Prosion, Discharge, Pigment) from RFD to finishing stage.
• Comprehensive knowledge of various fabric performance tests.
• Proficiency in using MS excel is preferred.
• Problem solving approach.
