Manager/ Sr Manager, Finance

Overview:

This position requires adherence to tight deadlines and involves a variety of accounting activities including general ledger accounting, financial analysis and reporting, internal and external audit preparation and coordination for a specific region.

Responsibilities:

• Manages monthly accounting close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting of all monthly accounting financial information for allocated region;
• Reviews complex reconciliations, roll-forwards, cash flow statements and analyses, compliant with USGAAP;
• Support global Statutory audits with other team members and coordinate with the internal business teams to deliver timely towards audit closure.
• Collaborating with functions to ensure timely month end close
• Responsible to ensure all business policies/ procedures are appropriate and timely updated and fully compliant with all internal/ external regulations and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with global accounting policy & accounting principles
• Support tax & legal team on requirements
• Effectively communicates across levels and functions of the organization;
• Uses professional accounting concepts and internal company policies to solve complex accounting issues;
• Manage some of India compliances including SEZ, TDS etc.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant with 10-12 years related accounting experience; preferably 3-5 years public accounting experience;
• Strong understanding of IFRS / USGAAP
• Experience in working on NetSuite ERP preferred.
• Experience working in global environment and managing international entities along with India controllership experience preferred.
• Accounting management experience in a high volume, growing organization
• Exceptional communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) across the globe.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, organization skills, time management and prioritization skills required
• Experience in managing teams in global organizations, able to manage work volumes with effective delegation as well as be ready to roll up sleeves to get the tasks completed.
• Be a self-starter and able to handle assigned tasks effectively and independently.
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to keep a team focused and manage an area with minimum oversight from Director. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
• Ability to manage, direct, and coordinate the staff to work and act with sense of urgency
• High analytical skills, responsive, self-motivated and results focused
