Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, planning and implementing technology solutions for Liquidity regulatory reporting in Axiom for Global Treasury. The individual will be responsible for working with Business and Technology counterparts across global sites as a Business Analyst and use their knowledge of the business systems, industry, and system development lifecycle methodology to successfully deliver high quality technology solutions.The successful candidate must be skilled in business analysis have expertise with functional requirements gathering and documentation have strong verbal, written, and presentation skills have a proven ability to liaise between business/implementation and technology teams and display collaboration skills.
Major Responsibilities:
- Drive the analysis of current processes and recommend solutions and improved processes may provide counsel on impact of systems changes to business processes.
- Decompose abstract and complex details/concepts into business and functional requirements that can be understood by the stakeholders (i.e. end users, developers, testers, etc.)
- Document project requirements and other project related documents with clear and concise language consistent with methodology framework.
- Work with the project team to develop and manage project plans including issue resolution and risk mitigation
- Drive resolution of issues, risks and impediments.
- Partner with technology and business managers providing overall strategic leadership in developing and maintaining disciplined processes.
- Ensure governance with the project methodology standards, documentation, and approvals (e.g. project artifacts, tollgates, etc.)
- Manage participation from required stakeholders to ensure accurate deliverables
- Manage cross team dependencies with other business and IT areas.
Requirements:
- Detailed knowledge of a wide range of banking investment products
- Advanced knowledge and experience using SQL and Oracle
- Knowledge of Jira would be an advantage
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Minimum of 2-5 years relevant industry experience.
- Background in software implementation in the Financial Services industry working as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
- Proven experience implementing financial systems using standardized SDLC methodologies and tools (e.g., AGILE).
- Experience working on multiple, concurrent projects with shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, presentation and facilitation skills.
- High Level of proficiency in MS Office including EXCEL, Word and PowerPoint.
- Team player with professional and positive approach
- Flexible and can adapt easily to changing/evolving role requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated & self-sufficient
- Effective communicator
Core/Must have skills
SQL Database - Oracle
Have skills to write complex SQL Queries
MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Knowledge/exposure to Regulatory Reporting applications and functions providing functional expertise.

Experience with a wide range of financial/banking products and investment types
Knowledge of Python and big data/Data Lake
