Job Title: Procurement / Vendor Management AnalystLocation: Bengaluru - Manyata Tech Park
Business & Team: Financial Services (FS) provides specialist services, to both customer-facing and customer-supporting teams, in the areas of finance, audit, treasury, tax, property, and procurement. We also manage the relationships with our shareholders and debt investors.Our diverse team includes accountants, analysts, traders, data scientists, auditors, client service and facilities management staff, property and construction managers, and procurement specialists.
Group Procurement sits within Financial Services. We are the Group-wide centralized function responsible for all activities across the supplier lifecycle, including development of commercial strategies, sourcing and contract execution supplier and relationship management supplier governance, policies and risk and purchasing, invoicing and payment.Within Group Procurement, the Enablement team works collaboratively across Group Procurement's operating functions. We provide support and services that ensure the effective and efficient delivery of business value and mitigation of risk. The key functional areas within the team are: Source-to-Contract support Buying Channels and Enablement Digital Procurement Operations Service Desk Travel Operations and Technology Delivery.
Impact& Contribution:
- As Analyst, you will be part of the Group Procurement - Sourcing Hub team.
- This Analyst role is accountable for managing the RFx process, Contract Management module, low to medium complexity commercial and contractual support to category teams and supporting Contract Execution Process (DocuSign).
- Group Procurement delivers benefits and mitigates risk to enable our customers to achieve their business goals.
- We do this through applying specialist knowledge across the procurement lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
RFx Management-- Provide RFx end to end management support
- Manage supplier communication & Facilitate supplier workshops
- Define evaluation criteria & facilitate and finalise evaluation
- Working in collaboration with Category Teams.
- Leading as a Sourcing subject matter expert
- Interpret and respond contractual T&Cs in-line with process to support Customers (low and medium complexity).
- Negotiate and execute supplier contracts (low to medium complexity) on behalf of category teams.
- Manage Contract execution Request (CER).
- Checking the completeness of the CERs (Approvals, compliance etc.).
- Engage with category managers to understand the contract hierarchy.
- Create contract workspace as per the hierarchy shared by category managers.
- Update and maintain accurate information in the existing contract workspaces.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Administration to support team effectiveness e.g. meeting coordination, meeting documentation, preparing presentations, event bookings etc.
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of risk and risk processes.
- Follow appropriate process and governance to address all aspects of risk.
- Ensure that you comply with Group policies and procedures and any relevant external legislative requirements.
Essential Skills:
- Should have solid experience of 4-6 years in the sourcing, contracting process and be able to demonstrate commercial acumen.
- Should be a sourcing SME with a customer serving mind-set.
- Hands on experience on contract interpretation and negotiation.
- Good knowledge of Ariba Source to Contract module or equivalent.
- Knowledge of contract workspace creation and understanding of contract hierarchy with good knowledge of Procurement Compliance.
- Ability to think laterally and develop new and innovative solutions to problems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work collaboratively, as one team with experience in a professional corporate environment.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word.
Education Qualification:Any Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in BA, B.Com, BBM, BCA, M.Com, MCA.
